UPR-info.org provides now information on the follow-up

UPR Info is starting to work on the follow-up. We will provide information on the implementation of recommendations and voluntary pledges in between two reviews. This information will be collected under item 6 of the Human Rights Council as well as from Governments and the civil society and displayed on the Follow-up page and under each State under Review’s individual page.

The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a new and unique mechanism of the United Nations which consists of the review of the human rights practices all States in the world, once every four years.

You will find on this website all the documents available on the UPR, among which: States and NGOs reports; OHCHR summaries and compilations; summaries of each review; reports of the Working Group; final outcomes with recommendations; webcasts of the UPR sessions; press statements by NGOs and analyses by UPR Info and other NGOs as well as detailed explanations on how to engage in the process:
