The 47th UPR Working Group starts next week!
The UPR Working Group will hold its 47th session from 04 November to 15 November 2024.
The 14 States under Review (SuR) during this session are Norway, Albania, (the) Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Portugal, Bhutan, Dominica, (the) Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Brunei Darussalam, Costa Rica, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Qatar and Nicaragua.
The UPR Working Group sessions will take place in Room XX at the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, and will be broadcast on UN Web TV. UPR Info's work: Pre sessions
From 27th to 30th August 2024 , UPR Info hosted the Pre-sessions for countries under review during the 47th Working Group session. Various key stakeholders, such as civil society organisations and national human rights institutions, were invited to discuss key human rights concerns within their respective countries and propose recommendations to Geneva-based State representatives.
