8th edition of the Padova UPR Model: applications are open!
The 8th edition of the Padova UPR Model will be held from 25 to 28 November 2025 in Padova.
Since 2018, international teams of students of the MA Degree Programme in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance in the Università degli Studi di Padova, coordinated by the professors from the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca”, organise an academic simulation of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). The simulation allows students from all around the world to learn more about the mechanism and discuss the human rights situations in the world by assuming the roles of NGOs, NHRIs and UN Member States.
The applications are open and the deadline is on 5 September 2025 for students enrolled in non-EU universities and 3 October 2025 for those enrolled in universities in the EU.
