Our 2024 Annual Report is out!
Throughout 2024, we provided strategic and technical support to over 2,040 people worldwide — including human rights defenders, national human rights institutions, Indigenous representatives, and State officials — empowering them to take meaningful ownership of the UPR as a tool to advance human rights.
-
We raised the visibility of key human rights issues — from climate change to education in conflict-affected settings — ensuring that the UPR remains a dynamic and inclusive mechanism.
-
We organized three series of Pre-sessions, offering 173 human rights defenders a platform to highlight national human rights priorities.
-
We delivered tailored technical support to national actors from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Senegal to Benin, and Togo, strengthening engagement and advocacy across all phases of the UPR.
-
We collaborated with NGOs, academic institutions, and international organizations to share knowledge and good practices with young human rights defenders, children, legal professionals, and journalists on how to effectively use the UPR.
At the same time, we continued to innovate digitally — enhancing our platforms and improving access to content in English, French, and Spanish, thereby expanding our global reach and strengthening regional engagement.
This progress was made possible thanks to the resilience, creativity, and dedication of our team — and the trust and support of our community of donors, partners, and allies like you.
