To all women and girls: Dare to shine and make your voice heard!

As the UN prepares to assess the progress made in the 30 years since the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, which guide public policies in favor of women's and girls' rights, significant advancements have been achieved—but resistance persists. Salaries, access to leadership positions, and the division of domestic tasks: in Switzerland and beyond, inequalities remain a reality.

How can we accelerate change? What commitments have been made?

Thanks to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanism, States are held accountable for their actions regarding human rights, including measures to promote gender equality.
