For Luka, for every child

“My name is Luka…” sang Suzanne Vega in 1986 — a song that tells the story of a child experiencing domestic violence.

Forty years later, its message still resonates: too many children continue to face violence, often in silence and behind closed doors. Some, such as children with disabilities, remain even more exposed.
