Stakeholders reports June 2026

Who is this webinar for?

Civil society organisations, national human rights institutions (NHRIs), and other associations are encouraged to submit reports on the human rights situation in their country. After submission, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) compiles civil society contributions into a single summary report that informs the UPR review.

By submitting an Other Stakeholders’ Report, civil society actors can:

  • Provide first-hand information and analysis on the human rights situation in the State under Review

  • Propose specific, action-oriented recommendations to UN Member States

This webinar is open to all the civil society actors, in particular to human rights defenders, CSOs and national human rights institutions from the States under Review during the 54th UPR Working Group: Togo, Syrian Arab Republic, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of), Iceland, Zimbabwe, Lithuania, Uganda, Timor Leste, Republic of Moldova, Haiti, South Sudan, Myanmar, Sudan and Ukraine.

The webinar will integrate the guidelines published by the OHCHR, which reiterates the importance of focusing on the implementation of accepted recommendations and developments of the human rights situation in a State under review. Civil society is encouraged to include information on the follow-up of the previous review in their written contributions.
