Spotlight on NHRIs: UPR Info's new interview series
UPR Info is excited to introduce a new interview series showcasing the essential work of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) and their role in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).
Aligned with our mission to enhance the engagement of states and civil society in the UPR process, this series will offer deep insights into how NHRIs address challenges, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement strategies to advance human rights.
Featuring a diverse range of NHRIs, our interviews will ensure broad geographic and thematic coverage, providing a comprehensive perspective on the impact of UPR recommendations.
We kicked off the series with our first interview, highlighting the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) and their crucial efforts in human rights advocacy; and followed with the National Human Rights Commission in DRC.
