The 46th UPR Working Group session is coming up soon!
The UPR Working Group will hold its 46th session from 29 April to 10 May 2024 in Room XX, Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland.

The 14 States under Review (SuR) during this session are Afghanistan, Cambodia, Chile, Comoros, (the) Cyprus, Dominica, Eritrea, Republic of North Macedonia, Viet Nam, New Zealand, Slovakia, Uruguay, Vanuatu and Yemen.
UPR Info’s Work: Pre-sessions
Between 13 and 16 February 2024, UPR Info held the Pre-sessions for the countries reviewed at the 46th session. Key UPR stakeholders, including civil society organisations and national human rights institutions, were invited to address the crucial human rights issues in their countries and suggested recommendations to the State representatives based in Geneva. All the documents related to the Pre-sessions as well as the national reports, compilation of UN documents and other relevant documents can be found on the country pages of UPR Info’s website.
Review’s outcomes for the countries examined during the 46th Working Group session will be adopted at the 57th session of the Human Rights Council.
In view of the 46th session of the UPR, NGOs with ECOSOC status may submit requests for in-person side events at Palais des Nations through the online platform. The platform to request an NGO side event will close on Tuesday, 16 April 2024, at 12 noon. Given the impact of the Strategic Heritage Plan on meeting room availability at Palais des Nations, side event slots will be allocated upon availability.
