Ensuring civil society has a voice

What does the situation of a person displaced by a climate-related disaster in Bangladesh has in common with the mobilizations organized to end gender-based violence in Tuvalu or with the increase of homelessness in Canada?

The answer is in the “Opinions” section of of the local daily Tribune de Genève (last Friday). The article focuses on UPR Info’s efforts to provide civil society with a space to advocate for the protection and promotion of human rights in the countries that will be reviewed at the Universal Periodic Review. To this end,  approximately two months before each UPR Working Groups, UPR Info organizes the Pre-sessions.
