How is AI helping human rights?

The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on our daily lives is an increasingly debated topic. 

This issue is being addressed also through the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), a UN mechanism that enables member states to propose solutions for human rights violations. Recently, countries like Liechtenstein and Costa Rica have urged other nations to develop national legislation to ensure that communication surveillance practices adhere to international human rights standards.
