"A UPR e Eu": Launch of the Child Guide to the UPR in Portuguese

Join us for the launch of the child-friendly Guide to the Universal Periodic Review in Portuguese!

The virtual side event to the 47th Regular Sessionof the Human Rights Council! will be hosted on Zoom on Friday 9 July 2021 from 13:00 to 14:00 CEST. 
 

​​​​​​In 2020, Child Rights Connect and UPR Info jointly developed a child-friendly guide to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

This year, the Portuguese Ministry of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security translated the guide into Portuguese. The aim of the guide is to empower children around the world to participate in the UPR as equal stakeholders in the UPR process. Panelists will share their ideas and experiences in promoting and engaging children and youth in the UPR process and other international human rights mechanisms.
