New developments at UPR Info

On behalf of all UPR Info staff, in both Geneva and Nairobi, and the Board, we would like to once again express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Roland Chauville for his remarkable work at UPR Info over the last decade.

Roland established an excellent organisation that has, over the last 10 years, helped all parties engage in the UPR and we are eager to continue this work. As we move forward, with Mona M'Bikay, our Executive Director, we will continue collaborating with our many partners to promote and advocate for the respect of human rights for all segments of society.

We will carry on with our mandate by encouraging an inclusive and participatory process to support the implementation of the UPR recommendations. UPR Info will also be working on policy to strengthen human rights monitoring and reporting mechanisms. We are committed to forwarding the human rights agenda through the realisation of the sustainable development goals. UPR Info’s vision, a world where all segments of society work together to promote and protect human rights, remains and our work to build the capacities of all UPR stakeholders continues in earnest.

We look forward to working with you all throughout the third UPR cycle, and the many more sessions to come.
