UPR Info took the floor at the General debate on Item 6

On September 24, the Executive Director of UPR Info, Mona M'Bikay, made an oral statement at the General debate on Item 6 at the occasion of the 39th session of the Human Rights Council, emphasizing on the necessary inclusion and engagement of all domestic stakeholders (government, judiciary, Parliament, law enforcement entities, and central and local authorities) to support the implementation of UPR recommendations; on the importance of national mechanism of reporting and follow-up and human rights action plans; as well as on indispensable role of of trias politica to prevent and respond to human rights violations.
