The 46th UPR Working Group starts next week!
The 46th session of the UPR Working Group is set to take place from April 29th to May 10th, 2024.
The 14 States under Review (SuR) during this session are Afghanistan, Cambodia, Chile, Comoros, (the) Cyprus, Dominica, Eritrea, Republic of North Macedonia, Viet Nam, New Zealand, Slovakia, Uruguay, Vanuatu and Yemen.
The UPR sessions will take place in Room XX, the Palais des Nations in Geneva and there will be a live broadcast for each session. UPR Info will provide updates on the Working Group sessions via X (Twitter). The schedule for the 46th session can be found here.
UPR Info's work: Pre sessions
From February 13th to 16th, 2024, UPR Info hosted Pre-sessions for countries under review during the 46th session. Various key stakeholders, such as civil society organisations and national human rights institutions, were invited to discuss pivotal human rights concerns within their respective countries and propose recommendations to Geneva-based State representatives.
